Kolo is an American brand of timeless objects. It develops a unique range of nomadic objects that stand the test of time, sourcing the world’s most noble and robust materials. Transportable items, from writing utensils to a wide range of waxed canvas leather goods.

Context

The studio undertook the redefinition of their brand platform and redesign the packaging. The real challenge was to homogenize the packaging of a range of objects that were very diverse in size and appearance.

Proposal

Use shipping codes for products that are exported around the world. Play with maximalist barcodes and minimalist typography printed in black. Propose a timeless design that is embodied at every stage of the value chain: from manufacturing, to shipping, to the store shelf and right into the hands of the customer.
